Fiddle Tree is a small tree of the fig type, originating in tropical South America. This very pretty and useful tree produces lots of flowers and fruit throughout the year. It is sometimes used as an indoor ornamental plant but can also be grown outdoors in full sun and well-drained soil in a sunny position. It will grow anywhere in the garden in moist soil in part shade. It grows up to 10 meters tall and has small drooping branches.
